Today, teachers in many parts of the world face many challenges. Their role in facilitating learning among learners has been reduced to manual paper world. The key role of teachers should be realized by the government.

Teachers play a fundamental role in providing quality education to their students. It is teachers who guide students in the right direction towards higher levels of knowledge, understanding and personal development. Let us all join hands to realize this dream of producing students who have faith, love and courage to face the world. It is we who are responsible in moulding and providing strength to our students in becoming a better person. Let us teach them what self-esteem is all about. Give them the strength not to follow the crowd when everyone else is jumping on the bandwagon.

As teachers, our duty is not only centred at obtaining excellent results but also producing excellent human beings. Teach them there is no shame in tears. Teach them that there can be glory in failure and despair in success. As teachers we are morally bound to let our students have enough courage to fight if they think they are right. Always teach them to have sublime faith in themselves so that they will have faith in others.

This is a tall order for all teachers, but please if we can do these, then we have succeeded in being an exemplary model for others to follow.
