A teacher takes time to help or tutor,
with English, or Maths or on a computer.
A teacher is someone who is patient, even in stress,
who never gives less than the very best.
Someone wise and shares from the heart,
not just lessons from books, but worldly advice they impart.
All your expertise and dedication,
captures our naive imagination.
There are no words to match our gratitude,
above all else, you've shaped our attitude.
However much like Shakespeare I might write,
norturing us with discipline at light.
You taught with love, not merely out of duty,
our days are daily burnished by that beauty.
Thank you for being where all the years went,
knowledge is wealth that can never be spent.
Thank you for being our heroes and friends,
on whom our bright vision and future depends.
