Mr. Patrick Lim's B.S.K Award

Mr. Patrick Lim is given the award of B.S.K. based on his contribution to the society and his service in the teaching profesion. Till now he has served for 33 years as a school teacher in Sung Siew.

Moreover he was the PTA chairman of S.K. St Monica from 2002 to 2004. His contribution to S.K. St. Monica was tremendous. He started the school computer class with 21 computers from contribution of the old boys from parents. He revived the Monican (Volume 2) making some money for the school from advertisements which he collected.

In sports, he has been the sub-committee of the Sandakan Gold and Country Club from 1998 till now. He is in-charge of the Club Bulletin and newsletters. As an avid golfer, he had organized many tournaments and friendly competitions for teachers during Teachers' Day. Due to his contribution to golf, he was awarded Sandakan BEST for golf in the ANUGERAH BEST 2004.

Mr. Patrick would like to thank the State Assemblyman Y.B. Datuk Lau Ngan Siew for recommending him for the B.S.K. award that was given by the Governor of Sabah in 2002.
