Happy Teacher's Day!

On a special Teacher's Day, a kindergarten teacher was receiving gifts from her pupils. The florist's son handed her a gift. She shook it, held it over her head, and said,
"I bet I know what it is....some flowers."
"That's right!" said the boy.
"But how did you know?"
"Just a wild guess," she said. The next pupil was the candy store owner's daughter. The teacher held her gift overhead, shook it, and said,
"I bet I can guess what it is...a box of candy."
"That's right! But how did you know?" asked the girl.
"Just a lucky guess," said the teacher.
The next gift was from the liquor store owner's son. The teacher held it over her head but it was leaking. She touched a drop of the leakage with her finger and tasted it.
"Is it wine?" she asked.
"No," the boy replied. The teacher repeated the process, touching another drop of the leakage to her tongue.
"Is it champagne?" she asked.
"No," the boy replied.
The teacher then said, "I give up, what is it?"
The boy replied, "A puppy!"

An average teacher teaches, a good teacher explains, a superior teacher illustrates, and a great teacher? A great teacher both learns and inspires students to ask questions fearlessly, for asking the right question is like taking the right turn amidst a maze of lanes and bylanes.

Greetings and welcome to our website. This website is especially dedicated with love and gratitude to teachers to honour their hard work and incomparable dedication in giving us knowledge and teaching us to be better individuals.

We celebrate Teacher's Day to appreciate what they have done for us. Now, teacher appreciation is a feeling expressed worldwide, because teachers are that special part of the community helping us all to grow up and be better citizens. Teachers Day originated as a dedication for Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was a staunch believer of education and was one of the most well known diplomats, scholar, second president of India, and above all, a teacher. This day is just a mere reflection of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's love for the teaching profession. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been recognized as Teacher's Day. In Malaysia, we celebrate teacher's day on the 16th of may.

Teachers give us a sense of perspective, or an ability to be able to see the bigger picture. They are like candles in the wind, never fading with the sunset when the rain sets in, lit with a burning passion to serve on in hopes of creating a better tomorrow. Their importance goes beyond textbooks and class tests and marks. And that is what we must keep in mind every Teachers' Day.

Teachers paint their minds
and guide their thoughts
Share their achievements
and advise their faults.
Inspire a love
of knowledge and truth
As you light the path
Which leads our youth
For our future brightness
With each lesson you teach
Each smile you lengthen
Each goal you help reach
For the dawn of each poet
Philosopher and King
Begins with a techer
And the wisdom they bring
